No. Parkfield Business Centre does not currently charge VAT on office rents.
How quickly can I move in?
Many offices can be occupied within a few days, subject to availability and completion of the licence agreement
Is parking available?
Yes. Each private office can have up to two on-street business parking permits, and Parkfield Business Centre reimburses the cost of those permits during your first year (£50 each per year there after) . Several other parking options are also available nearby, including church parking and public car parks.
Can I move to a larger office later?
Yes. Many businesses start small and move into larger offices as they grow. Subject to availability, we can often accommodate moves within the building.
Can clients visit my office?
Yes. Clients, suppliers and visitors are welcome during normal building access hours & you can let them in with your phone without even leaving your office.
Is internet included?
Wi-Fi is included with every office. Dedicated broadband connections are also available if required @ £20 per month 500Mb.
Do I need to sign a long lease?
No. We use flexible licence agreements rather than traditional commercial leases.
What are the building access hours?
Office members can access the building from 6:00am until 10:00pm, seven days per week.
Can I use the office as my registered company address?
Yes. Office members can normally use Parkfield Business Centre as their registered office address for one company.
Are business rates included?
Most smaller offices qualify for Small Business Rates Relief. Businesses remain responsible for any business rates that apply to their office.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. A refundable deposit is normally required when you move in. The amount depends on the office selected.
Is furniture included?
Most offices can be supplied with desks and chairs. We can discuss furniture requirements when you view the office.
Can I decorate or customise my office?
Minor customisation may be possible, but any decorating, signage or alterations require written approval first
Can I put signs in the windows?
Window signage is not allowed at Parkfield Business Centre.
Is there a meeting room available?
Yes. Members have access to a professional meeting room. Most private offices include one hour of meeting room use each month. Additional time can be booked as required
What facilities are available in the building?
Members have access to kitchens, toilets, communal areas, Wi-Fi, meeting facilities, visitor access systems and complimentary tea and coffee.
Is the building secure?
Yes. The building uses controlled access systems and CCTV for security purposes.
Can more than one person work from the office?
Yes. Each office has a recommended occupancy based on its size. We can help you choose the right office for your team. We offer additional space in our business loft at £25 per person per month
What notice do I need to give if I want to leave?
Notice periods depend on the agreement for your office. We will explain the specific terms before you sign.
Can I view the offices before making a decision?
Absolutely. We encourage prospective members to visit the business centre, view available offices and ask any questions before committing.
