Improvements Underway at Parkfield Business Centre in Stafford

We’ve been busy making a number of improvements at Parkfield Business Centre, with three offices being refurbished as well as work to freshen up the shared areas throughout the building.

We’re aiming to have all of the current improvement work completed by the end of 2026.

The aim is simple: to keep Parkfield a pleasant, practical and professional place for small businesses to work from in Stafford town centre.

Three offices being upgraded

Three of our offices are currently being repaired and refurbished.

One of the largest offices is being prepared for an existing Parkfield business that is expanding into healthcare and treatment services.

It’s always good to see a business grow within Parkfield rather than having to move elsewhere when it needs more space. The larger office will give them room for a team of up to around 10 people and the space needed for the next stage of their business.

We’re also refurbishing a large office on the second floor ready for a prospective new occupier.

Small private office available – £220 per month

The third office is a much smaller one-person office which is currently available.

At £220 per month, it could work particularly well for someone who wants their own quiet, private workspace without paying for more room than they need.

Because of its size and position, we think it could be particularly suitable for:

• Counselling

• Therapy

• One-to-one appointments

• A self-employed professional

• Someone currently working from home who wants a separate place to work

It provides a private office in Stafford town centre within a managed business centre, rather than having to take on a larger traditional commercial property.

The office is also below the current rateable value threshold where many small businesses may qualify for Small Business Rate Relief, subject to their individual circumstances.

Improving the rest of Parkfield too

The work isn't limited to the offices.

We’re gradually redecorating the internal shared areas of Parkfield and replacing the corridor carpets to give the building a fresher and more consistent appearance.

We're also making improvements around the men's toilets, including creating an additional corridor, while the ladies' toilets are getting a makeover with new flooring and fresh paint.

Our aim is to have all of this current work finished during 2026, so the offices and shared areas are looking fresh and ready for the year ahead.

These aren't dramatic changes made for show. They're the sort of ongoing improvements that make a difference when you come into work every day or have a customer visiting your office.
